About Us
Flatcap Carnival are the UK's first and only 'SKANIVAL' band. Created in late 2016, Flatcap Carnival was spawned from the minds of lead singer, Lee Richardson and trumpeter, George Green, who wanted to create a new style of Ska and Latin music to get people dancing. After hearing such bands as The Cat Empire from Australia and Hoffmaestro from Sweden, Flatcap Carnival aspires to be the UK's answer to those up-beat bands. Since its creation, Flatcap Carnival has played alongside and supported many great artists, such as: Too Many Zoos, Hot 8 Brass Band, Elvana and many others.
